No matter what life throws at us, we are called to gather as God’s people. We gather to engage with God and with each other. God uses our gathering as a means of grace and fulfilling His purpose in us.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” – Hebrews 10:25-26
What is home church?
Think of it as a mini-Sunday service, but at home instead of at church. We’ll still have prayer, Bible reading, sermon, reflection and discussion.
Why home church?
After much prayer consideration, we have chosen home church as our preferred mode of gathering for the rest of 2020. We believe home churches will best support close-knit relationships built around worship, prayer, Bible study and fellowship.
Another important consideration is the health and safety of our members and the community. Home church will give us the opportunity to have contact in smaller bubbles in keeping with NSW Government’s guidelines to home gatherings.
When and where is home church?
We have a number of home church held on Sundays, which vary by start time and locations. We welcome newcomers to join a home church and we’ll do our best to match you to the most suitable group for you.
Will there be a program for children?
For primary school aged children, we aim to have home church groups where kids can learn about Jesus together, alongside a leader (and a guardian).
For creche aged children, parents and in some groups, a member of the creche team will be involved in teaching the kids.
